TEA COLLECTION _ THE BIG IDEAS
All Tea Collection children’s clothing is inspired by a destination—the art, stories, flora, and fauna of another country. Tea has two collections per year, one that encompasses the spring/summer line and the other that covers fall/winter/holiday. Since the inspiration behind the design is integral to brand’s identity—and differentiates it from competitors—the product photo shoots were kind of a big deal.
During most of my tenure as Copy Director at Tea, we actually held product photo shoots internationally in the country where that particular line of clothing was inspired. I was involved in all of the international photo shoots, traveling along to conduct interviews and gather stories that we would use throughout the selling season. I also supported the Creative Director and Art Director by helping concept and write copy for their mood boards and photo shoot style sheets.
