BRAND _ SOCIAL MEDIA

TEA COLLECTION _ FOR LITTLE CITIZENS OF THE WORLD

At Tea Collection, all social posts—Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Tumblr, and our Studio T Blog, were managed by the marketing team. As Copy Director on the brand creative team, I was often consulted for creative direction, voice guidelines, and advice on how to write about certain topics. I did write a decent portion of social and blog posts myself, and edited a whole lot more.

Here are a few of my favorites…

LUNA BAR _ FOR BADASS WOMEN EVERYWHERE

During my tenure as a storytelling strategist and editorial consultant at Clif Bar & Company, most of Luna’s social posts were handled by an outside agency. However, I had final say on most of those posts, editing them for voice and tone where necessary and writing a few from scratch, as well. Luna has a bold, take-no-shit attitude, making these posts lots of fun to craft.

CLIF BAR _ FOR ADVENTURE ENTHUSIASTS

No joke—I’ve never heard the word “stoked” as much as I did when I consulted for Clif Bar. The brand takes its athleticism seriously, and their social feed reflects that. I edited quite a few run-of-show documents for Clif social posts (Instagram/Facebook/Twitter), and wrote the more editorial copy that connected with longer stories posted on the blog.

CLIF KID _ FOR SMALL MOVERS AND SHAKERS

Parents are the primary audience for all Clif Kid posts. They’re looking for information about the product, inspiration for activities and fresh ideas for their own kids, and a healthy helping of feel-good stories about people who go out of their way to make life better for kids. All Clif Kid posts were created by their in-house digital marketing team. I edited or wrote all the posts shown here.

MEN’S WEARHOUSE _ LIKE THE WAY YOU LOOK

I was Copy Manager on the ecomm creative team at MW from 2011-2013. Social media wasn’t quite as sophisticated back then, but we did have a regular presence on Facebook, both in ads, like “Suit Yourself,” and with customer activations like #formalfriday.
