DROPBOX _ DIGITAL CARE PACKAGES

In May of 2020, as the realities of COVID-19 quarantines and lockdowns really sunk in, Dropbox launched its Digital Care Packages. We partnered with over 25 creators, educators, and chefs – such as Bobby Berk, Roxane Gay, and Ace Hotel – to fill and curate Dropbox folders with inspirational content around themes of parenting, education, entertainment, food and wellness.

The idea was not just to highlight the easy usability and shareability of Dropbox folders, but to try to do something genuinely uplifting in the midst of a global crisis. You can’t go out and see your friends, hug them, share a drink with them—but you could send them something fun or creative or inspiring or entertaining or all of those things at once.

After just one week, the Digital Care Packages had 11,429,164 impressions; 94,045 link clicks; 2,903,275 video views and 987,236 downloads. All of that told us we had gotten something right.

Almost all of the celebs and influencers we partnered with on this project donated their time and the items in the folder. This project really felt like an act of goodwill in a deeply difficult time.

DROPBOX _ MAKING WORK WORK BETTER

CLIF BAR _ 27 MONUMENTS

Clif Bar is a company that believes in doing good. They pay their employees a living wage, they prioritize organic ingredients, they get loud about environmental causes like climate change and protecting public land, they volunteer in local communities.

As a company of and for people who love the outdoors, Clif Bar wanted to take a strong stand on the 27 National Monuments at risk in 2017.  President Trump tasked the Department of Interior with reviewing the protected status and acreage of public lands from Maine to Hawaii. I helped brainstorm and develop this hub (and wrote the copy) to clearly set forth the issue at hand, profile the monuments at risk, and make it easy for concerned individuals to join Clif in taking action to protect these public lands.
